See you at the finish line!
This year, we're finishing at Under Armour's World HQ in Locust Point! The post-race party will include live music, complimentary lunch for runners from Baltimore's favorite food trucks and one free LOCAL beer.
Runner bibs will have a tear-off food tag to be used to "pay" for your meal of choice. Choose from the following food trucks:
- UpslideDown Dave
- Maui Wowi
- Funnel Fare
- Wolo Eats
Additional food may be purchased with cash or credit card (depending on the truck).
THE BEER GARDEN
Runners 21+ will have a tear-off beer tag to be used to "pay" for your beer of choice. Please bring cash for any additional drinks. Choose from the following local breweries:
Diamondback Brewing Company
Diamondback calls Locust Point, an area in south Baltimore, Maryland, our home. In the old Phillips Seafood and Coca Cola facility we have brought industry back to our small neighborhood in Baltimore. We are looking to provide a hand-crafted and progressive approach to beer production. Our team works hard to create something that is unique and tells the story of who we want to be: adventurous and thoughtful.
Charm City Meadworks
Led by Co-founders Andrew Geffken and James Boicourt, Charm City Meadworks is Baltimore's leading mead producer. Mead is a honey fermented beverage with various fruits, hops or spices added. Be sure to check out their new taproom soon, 407 E. Preston St. Baltimore, MD.
Monument City Brewing Company
Although founders and brothers Ken and Matt Praay were separated by thousands of miles before starting Monument City Brewing, the bond around beer never broke itself. MCB got their start at Peabody Heights in Baltimore before opening their brand new taproom in Highlandtown, Baltimore. Famliar brews such as "51 Rye" and "Penchant Pils" are just a few to keep your taste buds stimulated.
The Brewer's Art
One Baltimore's most recognizable beer brands and must visit restaurant located on Charles Street in Mt. Vernon. Brews such as Resurrection, Beazly and Birdhouse carry the Belgian flavor and tradition here in Baltimore.
Key Brewing Co.—its name a nod to the national icon from our native Baltimore area, Francis Scott Key—is the only brewery in Dundalk, Maryland. Key joins a burgeoning tradition of skilled brewers in the region and, of course, the incredible movement of skilled craft brewing across America. Look for a few of their locally made, approachable beers such as Helles Lager, Chesapeake Common and Spot Buy IPA.
A very special thank you to 77 Rescue for supplying their beer truck for the event! They appreciate any and all donations!
Established in 2012, 77Rescue is a non-profit company servicing summer festivals, whose sole purpose is to raise awareness for volunteer fire companies all over the country. We purchased a 1986 fire service Rescue Squad and have outfitted her with 12 beer taps, a professional sound system, and a 55″ LED flatscreen TV. This is our first truck! As we move forward developing our business model, we plan to expand nationwide over the next five years, with a fleet of hundreds of trucks stationed all over the country.
Our customers are the public (age 21+), attending large public events (10,000+ persons) — events such as State Fairs, Irish Festivals, Octoberfests, BBQ Festivals, Conventions, etc. Included are fire department-specific functions, such as State Fireman Conventions, Volunteer Fire Department Open Houses, Fire Expos, and parades.
Currently we service the Maryland / Virginia / Pennsylvania tri-state area.. We travel from event to event, from May thru November, doing what we do best, getting the word out.
We're excited to welcome the Timmie Metz Band to the race this year!
