The 2019 Under Armour Charles Street 12 presented by KELLY and 2-Person Relay presented by HEX will finish at an epic post-race celebration on Under Armour's World Headquarters in Locust Point!

Course Turn-by-Turn

  • START at The Shops at Kenilworth and

  • Run East to Bosley Avenue.

  • Turn RIGHT onto Bosley and continue to Towsontown Blvd.

  • Turn RIGHT onto Towsontown and move immediately to the LEFT.

  • Turn LEFT onto Osler and continue to Stevenson Lane.

  • Turn RIGHT onto Stevenson and continue to Charles Street.

  • Turn LEFT onto Charles St and continue to Lee Street.

  • RELAY exchange point located at Charles St. & Enfield Rd (Friends School)

  • Turn LEFT onto Lee Street and continue to Light Street.

  • Turn RIGHT on Light Street and continue to Key Highway.

  • Turn LEFT on Key Highway and continue on Key Highway to Key Highway Extension.

  • Bear LEFT onto Key Highway Extension and continue on Key Highway Extension to TidePoint.

  • FINISH in front of Under Armour.

Water Stops & Restrooms

Water stops are located approximately every 2 miles on the course. You will find them at: 

  • Osler Drive at Towsontowne Blvd (water only)

  • Stevenson Lane and Dumbarton Road (water & restrooms)

  • In front of Friends School - RELAY EXCHANGE POINT (water, medical & restrooms)

  • In front of Calvert School (water only)

  • Charles Street just south of 29th Street (water only)

  • In front of the Walters Art Museum (water & restroom)

  • At Key Highway and Battery Ave (Rash Field and Federal Hill) (water only)

  • And the finish!


The Under Armour Charles Street 12 presented by KELLY has a 3 hour course cutoff time. This time begins when the last wave departs from the start. Runners who are significantly behind pace upon arriving at the Calvert School aid station (6 miles) will be offered a ride to the finish line, or permitted to continue (with medical approval) on the sidewalk. Runners who chose to continue must observe all the rules of the road and will not have support on the course.

Relay - Leg 1 of the relay will have 1 hour and 15 minutes to complete the first segment of the team relay in order to stay on pace. If a team’s first runner does not complete the first segment by the cutoff time the second runner will be released at the 1 hour and 15 minute mark.
